GB 7718-2025 is not current on 22 July 2026. It takes effect on 16 March 2027 and excludes catering food and freshly made and sold-on-site food from its scope. It must not be used as a current restaurant-allergen rule or as proof that a meal is safe.

Can I type my own allergen into the card?
No. The page provides eight fixed categories that passed editorial review and does not collect or store health information. A fixed category still cannot guarantee that a restaurant can identify or avoid the relevant allergen.
Does GB 7718-2025 require restaurants to label allergens now?
No. It is not current on 22 July 2026, takes effect on 16 March 2027, and excludes catering food and freshly made and sold-on-site food. It is not restaurant approval.
