How ChinaReady handles high-risk travel guidance
ChinaReady is an independent preparation guide. We do not make visa, entry, quarantine, payment, lodging, airline, or emergency decisions. Our job is to help travelers ask the right questions, collect the right documents, and verify official information before they act.

What our evidence labels mean
We compare a high-risk claim with the linked government or institutional source. A last-checked date records when that comparison was made; it is not an official approval of ChinaReady.
We organize source material into plain-language explanations, checklists, and suggested preparation steps. This is editorial guidance, not official wording.
Hands-on testing or real-world observation is a separate kind of evidence. We only claim it when a documented record is identified; otherwise the guidance remains source-based.
Checks cover preserved meaning, terminology, clarity, and mixed-language errors. A published translation does not, on its own, mean that a native speaker reviewed or approved it.
The Source Ledger lists source scope and review timing. When evidence is incomplete or a source does not answer a practical question, the page should say what still needs confirmation instead of filling the gap with an unsupported claim.
Review cadence
High-risk travel policy pages are checked at least weekly, and sooner when official sources announce changes. Broader preparation guides are reviewed monthly. Brand, legal, advertising, privacy, terms, and low-risk explanatory pages are reviewed quarterly or when the service surface changes.
Official changes, repeated user reports, Search Console signals, or Google Ads review requirements that touch privacy, terms, disclaimers, official forms, or high-risk travel facts trigger same-day review.
Language release policy
Before a language version is added to public navigation and search-discovery surfaces, it should be checked for preserved meaning, understandable wording, policy safety, mixed-language residue, and technical presentation. These checks do not claim native-human review. New high-risk topics may launch in fewer languages first and expand after the documented checks are complete.
Advertising separation
Official-source links and official form guidance must stay visually separate from advertising and third-party services. Ads should not be placed next to official-source calls to action, government-form instructions, or emergency steps in a way that could confuse users.

- We separate source problems, editorial clarity problems, practical-evidence reports, and language problems so each can be checked against the right kind of evidence.
- High-risk factual corrections are checked against an official source before wording changes are published. If the available source does not resolve the report, we do not present the unconfirmed point as fact.
- Material public updates are recorded in the Changelog. Source scope and review dates are maintained in the Source Ledger.
Limits
ChinaReady cannot replace official authorities, border inspection, airlines, hotels, banks, police, hospitals, embassies, consulates, veterinarians, or customs officers. Treat every page as preparation guidance, not a final decision.
