ChinaReady helps short-term foreign visitors prepare for arrival in China. The site focuses on practical topics that often create friction before and after landing: visa-free transit, arrival card preparation, mobile payments, accommodation registration, airport arrival, emergency help, and dog-or-cat travel preparation.

What we are not
ChinaReady is not an official government website, visa agency, law firm, bank, airline, hotel, animal quarantine authority, or emergency service. It does not make final eligibility, entry, payment, lodging, pet-entry approval, quarantine-exemption, airline-carriage, port-release, or emergency decisions.
How we handle different kinds of evidence
A linked source, an editorial explanation, a practical observation, and a language check are not the same thing. We describe them separately so readers can see what supports a page.
- Official-source verification: for high-risk facts, we check the claim against the linked government or institutional source and show review dates where practical. The Source Ledger records the source set, scope, and review timing.
- Editorial synthesis: we turn source material into plain-language summaries, checklists, and preparation steps. Those explanations are ChinaReady's editorial work, not official wording or an official decision.
- Practical evidence: we only describe a step as tested or observed in practice when a documented record supports that statement. If a page does not identify such evidence, it should be read as source-based guidance, not a claim of hands-on testing.
- Language review: language checks look for preserved meaning, clear terminology, and mixed-language errors. Publishing a language version does not by itself claim review or sign-off by a native speaker.
Corrections and change records
To report an outdated source, translation problem, or unclear statement, email feedback@gochinaready.com or use the contact page. High-risk factual changes are checked against an official source before publication. The Source Ledger shows source and review details, while the Changelog records material public updates.
